Jim’s career began at Monsanto. There he learned that the relationships that exist between manufacturing equipment, maintenance, and operations are critical to safety and successful manufacturing. He used his experience in operating heavy utility equipment to design/write control code for a wide variety of manufacturing equipment. These experiences helped him to “see the machine” of business processes and operations. His efforts include work in the Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Furniture and Refinery industries in addition to a large breadth of experience in business to business and representative businesses. His passion for business processes and procedures led him from Technician to System Engineer to Project Manager and then to Director of Operations. After successfully designing and implementing multiple business operations, he enjoyed several mergers and acquisitions where he performed due diligence asset valuations, system infrastructure integration and staff restructuring. Having served as a Plant and General Manager in Food and Furniture manufacturing has exposed him to a wide variety of processes and procedures, in business and manufacturing, that have included several ERP analyses, designs, acquisitions, and implementations. His designs and implementations have brought efficiency to operations and decreased employee frustrations.
Jim obtained a BS in MIS from Maryville University while raising a family and working full time as a Project Manager implementing pharmaceutical FDA validated projects. Jim understands the value of time and money. He strives to design processes and systems in a straightforward and simple manner. This simplicity allows for rapid deployment and flexibility. His mission is to leave things better than he found and to always be of help to people.
