In his book, Play Smart to Win in Business – Leadership Lessons from Center Court to Corner Office, Steve uses the tennis sports analogy to raise your game and apply the same concepts to business. These include preparation, being in shape, having the right equipment, practicing, planning, developing strategy, keeping score, building a strong team, and executing/play to win.
His work experience includes being a Consulting Partner with both Deloitte and Grant Thornton and a Senior Manager with Dun & Bradstreet Software. He started his career with Monsanto in a variety of accounting, systems, quality improvement and special project positions.
In 2008 Steve became an entrepreneur and co-founded Experience On Demand – a management consulting firm. His firm was voted #1 Best Consulting Firm in St. Louis by Small Business Monthly readers in years 2013, 2015 and 2016 and in 2016 they were a BBB Torch Award winner. In 2016 Steve received the University of Missouri Distinguished Career Achievement Award and in 2017, he was selected as “100 St. Louisans You Should Know To Succeed In Business”.

Steve is an active member in three international magic clubs and has earned his Doctorate in Magic. Steve has a B.S.B.A from UMSL and is also an Army veteran.
