Leroy D. Simpson, Psy.D has been a practitioner in the field Industrial and Organizational Psychology for over 14 years advising individuals, small businesses, and large organizations. His concentrations are on training, learning, organizational change management, organizational justice, leadership, talent acquisition, talent management, talent retention and organizational development. Leroy designs organizational change and development program and planned solutions for small businesses and mid-level organizations to increase positive behavioral and cognitive employee performance which leads to increasing revenue and achieving both cost effectiveness and efficiency with financial, operational, compliance and cultural positive results.
With small businesses, Leroy advised business owners in new HR and talent trends from changing from working in office locations to a productive virtual environment. His job analysis aimed to make employee roles more task efficient. While working for midsize and larger corporations, Leroy participated and lead both software system adoption and cultural organizational change management initiatives in energy, telecommunications, non-profits, healthcare, and higher education.
A few of his achievements include designing a leadership program for results orientation, designing and implementing an online project management and change management office, and designing an internship-mentorship career planning program for college students in psychology and mental health counseling to start their careers before leaving college. Leroyconducted trainings globally with at least 1,000 members and conducted global organizational development sessions that involve integrated performance management and employee survey and action planning. Leroy advised companies with over 10,000 employees through organizational change management and organizational development.
In the field of I/O Psychology, Leroy is doing active research in the small business community on talent acquisition and management and organizational assessment. He has a passion for health and wellness and exercises this by avidly working out as well as promoting employee health and wellness. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, a Master’s in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and a Doctor of Psychology in Organizational Management and Consulting.
